Justin Lin wants to make a ‘Fast and Furious’ movie in London. The director is keen to base the next instalment of the car racing franchise in Britain. He said: “I love Europe and I think there’s a chance.” However, Lin – who previously directed 2006’s ‘The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift’ – insists he would need to come up with a great new concept for the follow-up to go ahead.

He explained: “Two is a lot already but I feel like I’m always growing. From the last one I learnt a lot of things that I deliberately integrated into this one, and it’s only right. I don’t like repeating things. I want to continue challenging other aspects of growth for me.”

So all the rumors about the London Pursuit FNF movie might come true afterall!

Fast & Furious – New Model. Original Parts

Well, the rumours have stopped, the spy pics have ceased to arrive in my inbox and the IMDB page now says that the status of the film is completed.

All we can do now is wait a few months for the film to come out, and see whether all this fuss has been worth it.

Hopefully Justin can restore a bit of enthusiasm and passion into the series, and avoid any innaccuracise that there has been in some of the previous films – in my opinion tokyo drift was good natural progression from the first 2 films, and hopefully that progression will be reflected in the new movie and there will be lots of new cars, and a up-to-date story line.

We will review the movie as soon as our team has seen it, and we will keep our ear to the ground and if we hear any word of a FnF5 we’ll be the first to shout about it!

Fast and Furious 5 – No Paul Walker

Whilst i was browsing for gossip and news on the new movie i found an interesting interview with Paul walker, and it go’s a little something like this;

“As you know, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are getting behind the wheel for the fourth Fast and the Furious movie, just called Fast and Furious. So was it the draw of a great script that brought Walker back? Was it a connection to the character he created that gnawed inside him after skipping the third movie? Just what was it that got Paul Walker in the fourth instalment of the series? “A lot of money,” he quipped to MTV. “I don’t know,” Walker added. “I thought it would be fun to go back and do it one more time to close it out.”

But even with the check in hand, Walker says the experience is still missing something. “When I did the second one everyone said ‘What’s up with Vin [Diesel]? Why didn’t he come back for the second one?’ And then I didn’t do the third one everyone was ‘Why didn’t you do the third one?’” Walker explained. “But now everyone is going to be ‘Where’s Tyrese [Gibson]?’ I fought for that, to have him on board and it just didn’t work out.”

I will confess that I’m surprised at the level of buzz that exists for this movie, especially given the parallel tracks to relative oblivion laid down by the franchise, Diesel, and Walker. But if anything can save it, I guess it would be getting the band back together. We’ll find out if it works on June 12, 2009.
