Although the internet and message boards are littered with roumors about who may be starring in the next fast and furious flick, the only thing that seems to be certain is that it will be either delayed, or rushed.
The pending movie industry strikes mean that this film needs to be made, and before the cameras before march, next year (2008) . Now this seems like a bit of a rush to me, not only will they not have time to re-write the script if any mistakes are found, well, they’ll barely have time to write the script in the first place!
Even teh actors are not yet confirmed. There are many roumors surrouding the setting, and the cast, but the only thing that is certain is that it will be being made before march, and that the same guy (Justin Lin) will be in the directors seat. I hope justin is doing some overtime on this!
If anyone finds any more info, the post a comment.

According to the guys at NewHemiTech, the next installment will again revolve around drifting, with American muscle going head to head against some of the JDM favorites. Word has it that the central cars will be the new Camaro and the upcoming Skyline R35 GTR. The cast of cars will also include a S197 Mustang and the current Dodge Charger, each heavily modfied by American Car Products in Whittier, CA. NewHemiTech claims the Mustang and Charger below will be in the movie.

Vin Diesel has jumped the gun slightly, and has asked the singer Omar if he wants to appear in the fourth instalment of Fast and the Furious with himself starring!
From Prima Hora through Jo Blo comes the gossip that…
“Vin Diesel crashed one of popular Latino singer Don Omar’s parties (he’s also on the soundtrack for TOKYO DRIFT) and told him that he wants him to appear in the fouth sequel which The Diesel mentioned he’s starring in”
Now that is interesting.

The Fast and the Furious series carries a huge fan base and there’s a lot of desire for the latest entry from this NOS fueled series of films, well now the fans of the series might just be getting their prayers answered as the rumour starts up again that a fourth Fast and the Furious film is in development, and it will bring back some of the previous stars.
The latest rumours, and please do be aware that they are wild rumours without any factual backup as yet, have insiders on the very early production of the film saying that the film is in development with no talent attached as yet. IMDB have the film listed for 2009.
Inside Line through Autoblog tells us that their sources suggest the next film will bring back many characters from the other films including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Lucas Black, and that the film will take place in Rio de Janerio, Brazil.
They also go on to suggest that there will be a fair mix of new and classic cars in there, such as the 1970 Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Opala and a 1987 Buick GNX.
Looking at that list of talent I’d be really surprised if they all made it back in one film, that would mean that the budget would be rather large. Tyrese Gibson has moved upwards, although the other stars haven’t really gone much further since their roles, they all do command healthy payments so all of them would mean a tidy wage bill.
What do you think? Is this the way the film is going to go? Do you think Brazil is the right choice for the setting? Could they all come back, and what do you think of that speculative list of cars?

I was browsing a site trying to find out info on the new Fast and Furious film, when i found this comment;
“Apparently diesel and walker are both going to be in the next one. O’connor has to flee miami when carter verone is released and heads for tokyo.Once there it doesn’t take long for him to run into toretto the new drift king of tokyo.”
I guess the story line fits with the other films, and mgiht bring the 4 films together a bit as the 3rd one didn’t exactly follow on from the 2nd, did it.
